With regularly updated virus definition files, Virex is both stable and discreet. Configuration is easy and the program lets you choose the level of viral protection you want. Virex is my antivirus of choice since the freeware Disinfectant has vanished.

This program will let you turn your Mac into an OMS, FreeMIDI, or Sound Manager-compatible multi-timbral sample playback module. It can be setup like a simple sampler to playback on 16 MIDI channels with up to 64 samples per channel, mapped and enveloped to user-defined configurations. 68k and PPC compatible running System 7.1 or later. Sound Manager 3.1 or later recommended. Requires FreeMIDI 1.34 or later or OMS 2.0 or later.
